Exxon Mobil Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3 -Breaking

Investing.com Exxon Mobil (NYSE: ) On Friday, the third quarter ended with revenue surpassing expectations. Analysts’ estimates were beaten by this report.

Exxon Mobil posted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.58, on revenues of $73.79B. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS of $1.56 based on $71.02B revenue.

Exxon Mobil shares rose 56% over the first of the year but are down by 2.47% from October 26’s 52-week peak of $65.94. They are outperforming the S&P Global 100 which is up 19.54% from the start of the year.

After the report, Exxon Mobil shares gained 1.38 percent in pre-market trading.

Exxon Mobil reports on other earnings from the Energy sector this month

Exxon Mobil reported Friday’s earnings beat by Chevron, reporting EPS $3.19 on revenues of $44.71B. This compares to the forecasted EPS $2.21 for revenue of $40.27B.

Royal Dutch Shell B ADR disappointed with its third quarter EPS at $1.06 per unit on revenues of $60.04B. That compares to expectations of EPS at $1.37 per unit on revenue $61.17B.
