ROME (Reuters). – A tearful Joe Biden has returned from his trip with the papal support of Pope Francis in his dispute with conservative U.S. Bishops.

Biden was the second Catholic President in American history. He choked up while he talked about Beau, his son, and his feelings about Catholicism.

This man is full of empathy. Biden described Biden as a man who is open to reaching out, and that is part of Christianity. Biden said, “He’s a truly, really decent and genuine person.”

Because Biden supports abortion rights, conservative U.S. bishops are trying to prevent Biden from receiving communion.

Some of the same bishops that supported Donald Trump’s predecessor, Biden, have clashed on climate change issues with Pope Francis.

Biden stated that he opposes abortion personally, but cannot force his opinions on other elected officials.

Biden declared, “He is all I admire about Catholicism starting from the time I’m a kid going through grade school through highschool.”

Biden stated that he had great respect for those who disagree with the pope, however he was just an honorable, fine-mannered man.

Biden stated that he had met with the Pope on Friday and was told by the pontiff that he’s a good Catholic who is eligible to receive the Sacrament.

Biden was just as bold when he attended Mass at St. Patrick’s the English-language Catholic church in Rome the following evening.

Biden responded to a reporter asking him how he felt regarding the backing of the Pope and whether that meant the end to the communion debate.

He replied by extolling the virtues of the pope, calling him a “looker for peace, dignity and honor not just within the Catholic church, but all over the world.”

Biden choked as he remembered how Francis, when Biden was Vice President, visited the United States in 2015. The pontiff also took the time to comfort the extended Biden families over Beau’s death earlier that year, at 46 years old.

It wasn’t something he just talked about (Beau’s brain cancer death), but he actually knew all about it. Biden explained that Biden knew everything about him, who he is, where he went school and what kind of man he is.

Biden stated that the event had a profound effect on Beau’s (Beau) children and his wife. It also meant a lot to him.
