Block.one: EOS will Fork away from Block.one and Gearing up for Major Upgrades
  • To move out of Block.one.
  • EOS will be implementing a significant network upgrade.

Crypto companies are constantly developing new technology to improve their network and remain competitive with competitors. EOS (EOS), an open-source, highly efficient blockchain platform intends to take its platform to the next stage.

In a Tweet, Yves La Rose, CEO of EOS, reacted to this news.

La Rose said in the tweet that it was not his intention to please anybody. La Rose is focused on getting the job done. “I’m not here to be liked. I’m here to do a job and guide $EOS into the future. I’m still here to serve you, no matter how much or little. My resolve is strong. It’s enough time to walk on eggshells. Moving forward” he said.

Furthermore, La Rose also intends to move away from its technology guiding partner — Block.one. La Rose claims Block.one is fraud and EOS could continue working with Block.one. La Rose would like to see this end.

La Rose explained further,

We are witnessing a shift in which the EOS community puts itself in a position where it can move away from Block.one and essentially give them up. EOS will remain weighed down until Block.one makes a formal transition.

La Rose, on the other hand wants to improve the reputation of EOS. To do this he sought the support of the community. “My leadership will make the EOS ecosystem thrive once more. This task is not possible for me alone. We can achieve an incredible revolution in EOS together as a group. It was something I strongly believed back in 2017. Our actions have already propelled and inspired a new wave of collectivism within the community, he said.”

La Rose, last but not the least, gives hope for all EOS communities in the crypto-space. ”Today is the genesis of what EOS has the capacity to become. There are no excuses and no obstacles. All we have is what we want. What becomes of EOS next, is simply what we make of it.”

EOS currently ranks among the 50 most popular cryptos on CoinGecko at $5 per crypto.
