Viatris Earnings Miss, Revenue Beats In Q3 -Breaking

Viatris announced Monday the results of its third quarter. It missed analyst forecasts but generated revenue above expectations.

Viatris reported earnings per share at $0.26 on $4.54B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS at $0.8834 on revenues of $4.39B.

Viatris shares have fallen 26.73% since the start of the year. However, they are still 27.20% below their 52-week high of $18.86 on December 31, 2020. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 25.07% from the start of the year.

Viatris is following other important earnings from the Healthcare sector this month

Viatris’s report follows an earnings beat by J&J on October 19, who reported EPS of $2.6 on revenue of $23.34B, compared to forecasts EPS of $2.35 on revenue of $23.64B.

Pfizer exceeded expectations by beating all estimates on November 2, with third-quarter EPS at $1.34 on revenues of $24.09B. This compares to the forecast of EPS at $1.08 for revenue of $22.58B.
