Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index declined by 0.02% at Frankfurt’s close, while it gained 0.04%. And the index dropped 0.40%.

The worst performers of the session were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (DE:) fell 3.77% to trade at 37.805 by the closing. Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST, (DE:), fell 3.71% to end at 58.370. Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (DE:) fell 2.89% to 41.570, or 1.235 point.

These were the top performers on MDAX Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (DE) rose 3.01%, to 57.480. (DE) was also up 2.5% to settle at 32.80. Evotec AG O.N. O.N.

Prosiebensat 1 Media AG was among the worst-performing stocks, falling 2.00% to 4.6800 in late trading. Aurubis AG (DE): The German currency lost 1.84%, settling at 76.700 Lanxess AG (DE:), which fell 1.75% at 54.850 by the end.

EUR/USD dropped 0.10% from 1.1574 to 1.1574 and EUR/GBP increased 0.15% from 0.8556 to 0.8556.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.1% at 94.142.
