Matter Labs raises $50M to build EVM-compatible zk-rollups -Breaking

Matter Labs announces a significant new round of financing to help further develop zkSync 2, its Ethereum-based rollups.
On Nov. 9, Matter Labs AnnouncementIt had raised $50 million through a Series B round, which was led by Andreessen Horowitz. Other investors Placeholder Capital and Dragonfly Capital also participated. The new round follows Matter Labs’ $6 million Series A in February, and saw participation from many new investors including Crypto.com, ConsenSys, and OKEx.
