UK Supreme Court blocks $4.3 billion Google class action over iPhone tracking -Breaking

(Reuters] – An attempt to bring a class action in the UK against Google (NASDAQ;) for 3.2 billion pounds ($4.3 billion) was blocked by the UK Supreme Court. The case involved allegations that Google unlawfully tracked millions of iPhone users’ personal information.

Hotly-anticipated: British’s high court granted Wednesday a Google appeal against the first case of data privacy in Britain. The decision upsets other similar cases against technology companies like TikTok (NASDAQ:) or Facebook.
