Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index rose 0.4% at the Frankfurt close, reaching a new record high. However, it fell 0.23% and gained 0.43%.

These were the best performers of the session Delivery Hero AG (DE:), which climbed 4.27% to 4.85 points and traded at 118.35 by the close. Merck KGaA added 4.12%, or 8.45 points, to trade at 213.65 Continental AG O.N. O.N.

These were the worst performers of the session. Airbus Group SE (DE:) fell by 1.69%, or 1.94 points, to close at 112.60 Siemens AG Class N (DE) fell 1.65%, or 2.50 points, to finish at 148.58. SAP SE (DE) dropped 1.55% or 1.970 to 125.110.

These were the top performers on MDAX Wacker Chemie O.N. (DE:), which rose by 3.10% and climbed to 169.53 Lanxess AG (DE:), which rose 2.83% to settle in at 57.915 Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref(DE:), which gained 1.62%, to close at 42.750.

These were the worst performers CTS Eventim AG (DE) was down 5.34% at 65.920 in late trading, Knorr-Bremse AG – DE: which lost 3.8% to settle on 91.74 TeamViewer AG (DE:), which fell 2.78% to 13.27 by the end.

These were the top performers of the TecDAX Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. Technology O.N.

These were the worst performers Suse SA (DE) was lower by 5.31% at 37.63 in late trading, TeamViewer AG was at 13.27, and SAP SE was at 13.27.

By 346 to 326, rising stocks outnumbered those on Frankfurt Stock Exchange. 29 were left unchanged.

Shares in Wacker Chemie O.N. (DE): rose to 3-year highs. Up 3.10%, or 5.10% to 169.53. Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. shares increased by 3.00%. (DE:), rose to new highs, rising by 3.76% (8.00 to 220.50).

The, which is used to measure implied volatility for DAX options was lower by 3.64%, reaching 15.61.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was higher by 0.05%, or 0.95, to $1864.85 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil delivery for December dropped 0.65%, or 0.53, to $81.06 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract, however, fell 0.65%, or 0.54, to trade at $82.33.

EUR/USD fell 0.5% to 1.1444, and EUR/GBP dropped 0.2% to 0.8536.

The US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.5% at 95.127.
