Buckingham Palace stated that Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain will be unable to attend the Cenotaph’s Remembrance Day Service on Sunday because she injured her back.
In a statement, the palace stated that Her Majesty was disappointed to miss the service.
It would have been Queen 95’s first ever public event since being advised to take a rest after a night in hospital.
It is worrying that her absence from the London service, which she considers one of the most important of the year for her, has raised concerns over her health. She had been out of public life since the beginning of this decade.
The palace source claimed that the queen’s back injury was not due to any unspecified condition. Her doctor advised her to rest. It was an extremely unfortunate coincidence, according to the source.
Since she was admitted to hospital “preliminary investigation”, the world’s longest reigning monarch has been absent from events like the COP26 conference on climate change and a celebration to honor the nation’s fallen soldiers.
According to a source, the Queen hopes that her light-official duties will continue next week as she has planned.
Royal family, veterans and military leaders join forces to remember the fallen soldiers by placing wreaths at the Cenotaph located in central London.
