Defense lawyer in Ahmaud Arbery trial asks for Jesse Jackson to be removed from court -Breaking

(Reuters.) – The defense lawyer of Ahmaud Abery, a white male accused in the murder of Ahmaud, a Black person, in their south Georgia neighborhood failed to ask a Georgia court to expel Rev. Jesse Jackson was absent from Monday’s courtroom.

Kevin Gough made the request after another unsuccessful effort last week to persuade the court not to allow any other “Black pastors”, to attend the trial following Rev. Al Sharpton was another civil rights leader and was seen with Arbery’s parents in court’s public galleries.
