The pill by Pfizer was used with HIV medication to cut hospitalizations from Covid in patients at high risk.
Bourla previously stated that Pfizer would submit data to FDA prior to Thanksgiving.
Pfizer, which announced earlier Tuesday that it will allow generic makers to provide its antiviral medication, Paxlovid (also known as Paxlovid), to 95 low- to middle-income countries, had previously made this announcement.
