U.S. House Majority Lead Hoyer indicated on Tuesday that he does not agree with Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer’s request to tap the strategic oil reserve in order to lower gas prices. Hoyer explained that he felt the reserve could be used in the event of an unexpected collapse in supplies.
