BRUSSELS, (Reuters) – Around 35,000 protestors marched in Brussels Sunday against government restrictions in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Police said.

According to Le Soir, there was some fighting between protestors and the police. Protesters were throwing fireworks and smoke bombs.

Later, the police stated that things had stabilized.

On Wednesday, Belgium tightened coronavirus regulations, mandating greater use of masks, and forbidding homework, in response to rising cases during the fourth COVID-19 Wave.
