Queen Elizabeth attends family christenings, PA reports -Breaking

LONDON (Reuters – Queen Elizabeth celebrated the christenings two of her great grandchildren on Sunday. It was four days since the monarch, 95, made her first public appearance after a stay in hospital.

Buckingham Palace did not comment on this report.

Last month, the queen was admitted to hospital for “preliminary investigation” of an unknown illness. Since then doctors advised that she cancel all engagements.

On Nov. 14, she pulled out from a Remembrance day Ceremony with a sprained lower back. A palace source stated that it was not related to her condition, which required rest.

She was photographed smiling and standing at Windsor Castle as she spoke to Chief of Defence Staff on Nov. 17.

According to the PA, the private ceremony that took place Sunday at Windsor Great Park’s Royal Lodge was for two families to be christened.

One of them was Princess Eugenie’s baby boy, Prince Andrew. One was the son of Zara Tindall’s third child.
