WASHINGTON (Reuters] -On Monday, the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee was investigating the fatal Jan. 6 riot in the Capitol. It said it had subpoenaed Alex Jones, creator of Infowars’ right-wing website, and Roger Stone who is a close ally of Donald Trump.

Subpoenas were also issued by the committee to Dustin Stockton (a political activist connected with Steve Bannon) and Jennifer Lawrence, Stockton’s fiancée. Stockton, Lawrence and other members were part of the We Build the Wall group. Federal agents raided the building in August 2020 to investigate fraud.

The subpoena was also sent to Taylor Budowich (a Trump spokesperson).
