Report claims each Solana TX uses less energy than 2 Google searches -Breaking

The Solana Foundation reports that a transaction over the network consumes less energy than 2 Google (NASDAQ:), searches, and 24x more energy than charging your smartphone. This is according to their Thursday report.

It ReportIt states that one transaction in its network requires 0.00051 kWh (kWh), or 1,836 Joules. AccordingGoogle estimates that an average Google search consumes 0.0003kWh (or 1,080 Joules) of energy.
