BOJ Kuroda highlights need to fund transition toward greener operations -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters), Haruhikokuroda, Bank of Japan Governor said Monday that financing was essential for industries that are in transition towards greener operations.

Kuroda stated that while climate change must be addressed urgently, it will not take long to complete full decarbonization. This was Kuroda’s speech to the Paris Europlace forum.

“In the promotion of decarbonization, it’s important to provide stability support for structural change within sectors and industries that will require decarbonization over a shorter period of time,” said he.
