Emirates Post Group (EPG), has announced the launch of its digital NFT stamp, December 2, 2021. EPG, the United Arab Emirates’ first NFT-based stamp company, will implement the stamp.

The date is clear. It’s no surprise that this innovation would occur the same day UAE marks its 50th National Day 2021. Virtually all stamps will feature a digital representation, which mainly makes use of the power and potential of blockchain.

The NFT stamp will go into effect in four phases. Each represents an independent design that reflects the UAE national theme. To make it easy to identify, the premium edition carries one gram of fine-graded gold entitled Golden Jubilee 2021.

The second stamp is called the “Spirit of the Union – 1971” which symbolizes the establishment of the UAE by the founding fathers. Guess (NYSE:) what, the third stamp is “Year of the 50th – 2021” while the fourth one is the “Projects of the 50th 2071” — representing the futuristic vision of the UAE.

NFT fans will be able to buy the NFT stamp digitally as collectibles linked to physical counterparts. Abdulla Mohammed Al-Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post Group expressed his opinion and is well aware about this matter.

In line with EPG’s goal of transforming into a more digital-centered company, we are proud to announce the launch of the first NFT stamp in the region, which utilizes blockchain technology. We are closing the gap between the traditional world of stamps and digital currency by introducing NFT stamps that can be traded.

Al Ashram stated again that the soon-to be issued NFT stamp was a testimony to their hardwork and their determination to build a stronger technology infrastructure for their customers. “NFT enthusiasts will be able to collect, exchange and trade our stamps, which also promote the story and milestones of the UAE,” Al Ashram added.
