Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.76% -Breaking
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
The fell 0.7% at the closing in Tel Aviv.
These were the best performers of the session The Big Shopping Centers Ltd. (TASE:), rose by 1.93% to trade at 48480 at close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE) gained 1.67%, or 3400 points, to close at 207450. Nice Ltd (TASE) saw a rise of 1.62%, or 1430 points in late trade to 89900.
They were also the worst performers of the session. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. TASE:, which dropped 3.16% (or 90 points) to trade at 2762 by the close. Israel Corp TASE: (TASE:) fell 2.84%, or 3540 points, to finish at 121100. OPKO Health Inc TASE: was at -2.36%, or 31 points lower than 1281.
By 313 to 176, falling stocks outnumbered those in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, while 32 ended unaffected.
Crude oil was reduced by 4.02%, or 2.81, to $67.14 per barrel for January delivery. Brent oil fell 2.79 percent to $70.43 per barrel in commodity trading. The February Gold Futures contract dropped 0.41% to $1777.85 an ounce.
USD/ILS increased 0.18% from 3.1629 to 3.1629 and EUR/ILS climbed 0.10% to 35679
