TAOS N.M. (Reuters). Several people involved in handling guns at the Western movie set “Rust” starring Alec Baldwin could be facing criminal charges for their involvement after the death of a cinematographer. This was according to a New Mexico district Attorney.

“Everyone involved in the handling and use of firearms on the set had a duty to behave in a manner such that the safety of others was protected,” New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said in a statement.

“Certain people may be criminally guilty for their actions or inactions at the Rust set,” she stated, noting that she hadn’t made a decision about charges.
