Former Facebook engineers at Mysten Labs raise $36M for Web3 infrastructure -Breaking

© Reuters. Mysten Labs (the research and development firm that was founded by engineers at social media giant Facebook (NASDAQ):) has completed a $36 Million funding round to help it achieve its goal of creating a Web 3.0 infrastructure.
Medium announced that Mysten Labs’ team was on Monday. With participation from Redpoint Ventures (NASDAQ:) Ventures and Electric Capital as well Standard Crypto, Standard Crypto, NFXs, Slow Ventures (Scribble Ventures), Samsung (KS-) NEXT, the company had already raised $36M in a Series A round of funding. CNBC reported that Evan Cheng, the CEO of the company was named. Mystery plans to use these funds to construct the infrastructure required for crypto- and blockchain-focused businesses to offer technology.
