U.S. auto safety agency discussing video game feature with Tesla -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Wednesday’s announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NASDAQ:), indicated that they are discussing a Tesla Software Update, which would allow people to use a touch screen attached in front of their dashboards for video gaming.

The New York Times reports Tuesday that Tesla has added these games to an over-the air software update, which was sent out to almost all of its vehicles in the summer. “Distraction-affected crashes are a concern, particularly in vehicles equipped with an array of convenience technologies such as entertainment screens. NHTSA sent an email Wednesday stating that they are aware of the concerns expressed by drivers and were in discussions with the manufacturer about the option.
