Biden will travel to Kentucky to survey tornado damage -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – President Joe Biden stated Monday that he was going to Kentucky Wednesday to inspect damage sustained by tornadoes that decimated a wide area of Kentucky.

Biden made the remarks after receiving an update about the tornado relief effort by his top advisers. Biden stated that he would approve the Illinois emergency assistance request as soon as possible.

Biden was told by the White House that he would go to Fort Campbell (Ky.) for a storm briefing and Mayfield and Dawson Springs (Ky.), to study storm damage.

Biden promised that the federal government would give “whatever they require, when they need.”

Kentucky has seen at least 64 victims, including six children, lose their lives. There is power outage for thousands of people and strangers are still welcoming those who have lost all their belongings into their homes.
