France stocks lower at close of trade; CAC 40 down 0.82% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Paris closed with the index falling 0.86%, and the loss of 0.82% for the index.

Eurofins Scientific SE, which gained 2.59% (or 2.76 points) to close at 109.24 was the best performer of the session. Meanwhile, Hermes International SCA: (PA:), added 1.21%, or 18.50 points, to reach 1543.50 BNP Paribas Late trade saw an increase of 0.45% in SA (PA) to 56.42 points.

They were also the session’s worst performers Worldline SA (PA:), that fell 6.68% (3.28 points) to close at 45.84. Stellantis NV, (PA:), declined 4.14% (0.68 points) to close at 15.79 Renault SA (PA) fell 3.26%, or 0.95 points, to 28.17.

Eurofins Scientific SE was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 2.59% to 110.24. Getlink SE (PA) rose 1.88% and settled at 13.83. Hermes International SCA gained 1.21% to finish at 1543.50.

They were among the most disappointing. Ipsen SA (PA :), which fell 7.36% at 79.54 late trade. Worldline SA, PA:), which lost 6.68% at 45.84. SEB SA: (PA 🙂 dropped 5.38% at 130.20 by the close.

Ending unchanged, falling stocks outnumbered advancing stock on the Paris Stock Exchange 443 to 175 and 85 respectively

The February delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.53%, or 9.65 to $1795.25 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell by 4.63%, or 3.28, to $67.58 per barrel. The February Brent oil contract dropped 3.99%, or 2.93, to $70.59 per barrel.

EUR/USD rose 0.4% to 1.1284 while EUR/GBP rose by 0.70%, to 0.8542.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.1% at 96.455
