Oracle working to double client numbers in Latin America -Breaking

BOGOTA (Reuters), a software company that makes enterprise software Oracle Corp A company executive stated to Reuters that (NYSE:) plans to double the number of clients it has in Latin America, and also increase profit in 2022. This was in addition, saying that this will be possible only if they have the best talent.

There are approximately 7,000 Oracle Latin America clients. Luiz Mesler, executive vice president of Latin America at Oracle, stated that it plans to provide free training for up to 40,000 workers through a program called “Social Inclusion”. This is part of the company’s expansion plans.

Only those with limited access to paid education will have the opportunity to take advantage of this training plan.

Meisler stated that he estimates there will be 40,000 students certified to enter the market. This is a good estimate, he said. Due to high market demand, the number could rise even further.

He said, “I have more market than I currently can deliver; my limit for delivery is determined by the number of people I am able to train. So I would expect growth at least twice.”

The company’s program Oracle Next Education (ONE), aims to provide opportunities for future workers and help them access education in Latin America.

According to the World Bank, there are approximately 23 million Latin Americans between 15-24 who do not work or study.

Meisler stated that Oracle has been expanding in Latin America to meet strong client demand.

The company currently serves 430,000 customers across 175 countries and will open 14 cloud regions on five continents during 2022. This expansion will see the company expand to eight Latin American centers, with four of them being based in Brazil and one in Chile.
