NSE closed with the index losing 0.33% and the decline of 0.40%.
These were the best performers of the session HCL Technologies Ltd (NS:), rose 3.08%, or 37.75 Points to trade at 1265.20 by the close. Meanwhile, Tech Mahindra Ltd (NS) was up 2.38%, or 40.00 points, to reach 1723.80 SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd (NS) saw a 2.00% increase or 22.55 point to 1148.00 late trade.
These were the worst performers of the session. Grasim Industries Ltd (NS-), fell 2.93% to trade at 1610.90 by the close. NTPC Ltd (NS) fell 2.65%, or 3.30 points, to finish at 121.25 Eicher Motors Ltd. (NS 🙂 dropped 1.81% to 2435.35, or 44.90 points.
HCL Technologies Ltd. (BO) rose 3.08% at 1265.10 and Tech Mahindra Ltd. (BO) was up 2.34% at 1723.20. Asian Paints Ltd. (BO) gained 0.65% at close at 3288.15.
The worst performers were NTPC Ltd (BO:) which was down 2.69% to 121.25 in late trade, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (BO:) which lost 2.47% to settle at 203.25 and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (BO:) which was down 1.71% to 812.50 at the close.
India National Stock Exchange: Falling stocks outnumbered the advancing by 1159 to 623; 36 was unchanged. On Bombay Stock Exchange, 1697 were lost and 1526 gained, while 100 was unchanged.
Tech Mahindra Ltd. shares (NS) reached all-time highs with a gain of 2.38%, or 40.00 to 1753.80. Tech Mahindra Ltd’s shares rose by 2.34%, or 39.45 to 17.23.20.
