U.S. administers 505 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

REUTERS/Emily Elconin(Reuters) – The United States had distributed 609,591,375 COVID-19 doses and administered 505,013,980 COVID-19 doses as of Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
These numbers are higher than the 503,480,000.667 doses of vaccine the CDC stated had been given to patients by December 27th, from 609,589.955 total doses.
It stated that 242,813,374 people have received at least one dose, while 205.420.745 are all fully vaccinated. ET on Tuesday.
Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.
More than 67 million people were given an extra dose of either Pfizer Moderna’s vaccine (NYSE:) since August 13, 2013, when the United States approved a third dose for those with compromised immune systems, who may have less protection than the two-dose regimens.
