WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission was charged Wednesday Medallion Financial (NASDAQ:) Corp. Andrew Murstein, President and Chief Operative Officer was accused of involvement in fraudulent schemes in order to raise the company’s stock prices.
