(Reuters] – The wildfire, which was driven by wind and destroyed hundreds of Colorado homes, has yet to cause any injuries, Colorado officials reported on Friday. Officials also stated that the U.S. president Joe Biden approved an emergency declaration for major disasters in the area.
Joe Pelle from Boulder County said there have not been any fatalities reported up to now, while Jared Polis of Colorado said he has spoken with Biden.
At least half a dozen were injured by the wildfire, prompting the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people in two areas east of Denver’s Rockies on Thursday.
Officials said that although the source of wildfires is not known, it was believed to have been caused by power lines.
