ZURICH (Reuters – According to Friday data, the Swiss National Bank had spent 2.79 Billion Swiss Francs ($3.05 Billion) on foreign currencies in the third quarter. This was despite the steady rise of value for the safe haven franc.

This figure is lower than that of the SNB’s 5.44 billion Francs in April and June, and it was also less than its 10.97 billion francs expenditure during the third quarter 2020.
