Israel stock prices higher after close of trading; TA35 up 0.50%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Tel Aviv’s closing bell saw the currency rise by 0.50% and reach a record-breaking high.

These were the best performers of the session Ormat Technologies TASE:, which rose 3.9% or 940 points at the close to trade at 24760. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TAS:) Added 3.82% or to reach 2857, 105 points Amot Investments Late trade saw Ltd (TASE) rise 2.97%, or 75 points, to 2603.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TASE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 6.53% or just 176 points to close at 2519. OPKO Health Inc (TASE 🙂 fell 3.62% (56 points) to close at 1489, while Perrigo was down 2.35% (290 points) to 12040.

Stocks that are rising outnumbered those in decline on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange were 420 to 100 while 19 ended the same.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TASE) shares fell 52 weeks ago to their lowest point. This was a drop of 6.53%, or 176 to 2519. Amot Investments Ltd. shares (TASE:), rose to 52-week peak; an increase of 2.97%, or 75 to 26,03.

Crude oil was at $75.35 an barrel for February delivery, down by 2.13 percent or 1.64. Brent oil, which was due for delivery March 1, fell by 1.67 percent to reach $77.86/barrel, and the February Gold Futures contract increased 0.90%, or 16.30, trading at $1830.40 per troy ounce.

USD/ILS increased 0.10% from 3.1075 to 3.1075 and EUR/ILS climbed 0.53% to 35334.

At 95.635, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.34%.
