(Reuters) – Twitter Inc (NYSE) announced Sunday that it has permanently suspended the personal account Marjorie Taylor Greene of the Republican U.S. Rep. for posting tweets which repeatedly violated COVID-19’s misinformation policy.

Twitter suspended Greene’s Twitter account @mtgreenee temporarily. Some of her tweets have been labeled “misleading,” by the company.

“Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” Greene, a Republican, said in a statement on messaging app Telegram, adding that social media platforms “can’t stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can’t stop the truth. Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth.”

Greene’s official representative account @ReptMTG remains active on Twitter.
