Zynga announced Monday it will acquire all remaining shares at $9.86 per share. This is 64% more than Zynga’s Friday closing price. Zynga’s shares rose 49% in pre-market U.S. trading.
Strauss Zelnick of Take-Two stated in an interview that this strategic alliance “combines our best-in-class PC and console franchises with a market-leading and diversified mobile publishing portal that has a rich historical of innovation, creativity, and innovation.” press release.
