LONDON (Reuters – Britain’s Labour Party, the opposition to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s governing Conservatives has gained its largest lead since 2013, following outrage over social gatherings in Downing Street’s COVID-19 lockdowns. An opinion poll revealed that this was the result of a public backlash.

Opinium’s poll gave Labour 41%, compared to 31% for Conservatives.

This online poll was taken by 2,005 participants between January 12th and 14th.
