Is Walmart gearing up to enter the metaverse? -Breaking

Walmart (NYSE 🙂 appears to be getting ready for the metaverse. It has filed patents that indicate it intends to build its own cryptocurrency collection and nonfungible token collections (NFT).

A number of trademarks were filed by the multi-national retailer Dec. 30 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. They were however not noted until Sunday’s report from CNBC. Shed more light on Walmart’s ambitions.
