BEIJING, (Reuters) –Starbucks announced Tuesday that it had entered into a partnership agreement with China’s Meituan to allow Chinese customers to place orders via its super-app.

This move will increase the U.S. coffee chain’s delivery reach in China. China has used U.S. Coffee Chain’s services since 2018. Alibaba Ele.me is the exclusive delivery partner of Group (NYSE:)

Meituan will launch a new service that will let users book private tastings of coffees, and then learn to make the same at Starbucks (NASDAQ).

According to Starbucks’ most recent earnings report, there are 5,360 Starbucks stores located in over 200 Chinese cities. This makes it China’s second-largest market after the United States.

According to the company, it also stated that Meituan would use its “super store” feature in the partnership. This will allow each of Meituan stores to have their own Meituan page by the end this year. Customers can then book food delivery or look for events nearby.
