WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Alphabet’s Google requested a Federal Judge to reject the majority of an Antitrust Lawsuit filed Friday by Texas and other states against the search company. They claimed it was abusing its dominant position on the internet advertising market.

In its court filing, Google stated that states had failed to prove that it worked illegally with Facebook (NASDAQ;), Meta to combat “header bidding”. This technology was developed by publishers to increase revenue from the advertising they place on their sites. Facebook is not listed as a defendant.
