JERUSALEM (Reuters] – The fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine administered to over-60s in Israel has made them three times less likely to contract serious illness than thrice-vaccinated persons in the age group.

According to the ministry, the second booster (or fourth dose) doubled the resistance of those who had received three doses. The fourth dose of Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine was offered to over-60s earlier in the month.
