Ukraine receives second batch of U.S. weapons in Russian stand-off -Breaking

KYIV (Reuters – Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov stated that the United States had sent a second shipment of weapons to Ukraine as part of a defense aid package totalling $200 millions.

Washington said that it will continue support Ukraine despite concerns expressed by Kyiv, its Western allies and over the tens to thousands of Russian soldiers residing at its borders. Russia denied any plans to launch a military offensive.

Around 90 tonnes of “lethal assistance” (including ammunition) from the December package arrived in Kiev on Saturday.
