Coca-Cola, Molson Coors to launch Simply-branded alcoholic drinks -Breaking

(Reuters) – Coca-Cola will introduce Simply-branded alcoholic beverages in America this summer with the help of beer giant, Coca-Cola (NYSE) Molson Coors (NYSE:) Beverage Co ,>

Soft-drink makers, including Monster Beverage PepsiCo, (NASDAQ:) Inc and Corp have begun to expand into the alcohol space because the boundaries between categories are becoming increasingly blurred.

Coca-Cola introduced an alcoholic Topo Chico sparkling water with Molson Coors around a year ago. Then, Constellation Brands Inc. (NYSE:) partnered up to bring you Fresca-branded ready-to-drink cocktails.

Molson Coors, the Coors Light beer manufacturer, announced Tuesday that Simply Spiked Lemonade will be available in multiple flavours this summer.

Coca-Cola’s second-largest U.S. Brand in Revenue after the eponymous brand is Simply.
