Fauci says ‘prudent’ to have Omicron vaccine, but may not be needed -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – A COVID-19 vaccine that specifically targets the Omicron variant of the virus would be prudent even if not needed in the end, a top U.S. official with infectious diseases said Tuesday. Pfizer Inc (NYSE) and BioNTechSE (NASDAQ) both announced the launch of such a clinical study.

MSNBC was informed by Dr. Anthony Fauci (President Joe Biden’s most trusted medical advisor), that he doesn’t expect indefinite rises in the number of cases.

It is possible that COVID will eventually be eliminated.
