U.S. House panel seeks information from meat processing firms on rising prices -Breaking

(Reuters) – On Tuesday, the chairman of U.S. House of Representatives’ subcommittee of economic and consumer policies sent a letter to U.S. beef processing companies asking for details on increasing profits and rising prices.

Companies included Tyson Foods (NYSE:), JBS Foods and National Beef. Raja Krishnamoorthi was the chair of the panel and asked for details about any price hikes in beef, pork, or chicken products.
