Tennis-Man convicted in London for stalking U.S. Open champion Raducanu -Breaking

(Reuters) – British media reports that a 35-year old man was found guilty of stalking Emma Raducanu the U.S. Open tennis champion, British media said on Saturday.

Bromley Magistrates Court sentenced Amrit Magar Friday. He was caught several times by door-cam footage in the house of the player, who is 19 years old. She lives there with her parents.

According to Daily Mail, Magar, an ex-delivery driver, sent Raducanu flowers and a note of love. He also included a map showing his route from northwest London, which is 23 miles (37 km) away, to get to her.

The court will sentence him next month.

According to Daily Mail, Raducanu stated that he felt “scared out” since all of this happened. Raducanu stated that he feels very anxious about going out on his own.
