(Reuters] – Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:) expects to launch a 5G iPhone at a price that is affordable and an upgraded iPad in March, Bloomberg News reported Friday. It was slated for a near-March 8 date.

According to reports, the iPhone SE’s first upgrade in over two years will bring the iPhone SE up to date. The new iPhone will have 5G network capabilities and an upgraded camera.

Apple has announced two MacBook Pro models featuring more powerful, in-house chip technology in October.

The report said that Apple may alter its plans in case of delays or other changes to production, with the launch scheduled for less than a month away.

Reuters reached the company but did not receive a response immediately.

Cupertino-based Apple, California, is overcaming the worldwide shortage in computer chip chips. In January, Apple posted record holiday quarter sales, exceeding profit expectations and forecasting that the gap is shrinking.
