© Reuters. VeriSign earnings beat in Q4VeriSign (NASDAQ) reported Thursday that the fourth quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.
VeriSign posted earnings per share in the range of $1.48 to $340.31M on revenue. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS of 1.45 on revenues of $339.34M.
VeriSign shares fell 16% over the first of the year. This is still 17.24% less than its 52-week peak of $257.03 on December 30, 2021. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is down 5.52% from the start of the year.

VeriSign’s earnings report comes after Apple beat VeriSign on January 27, reporting EPS at $2.1 per share on revenue revenue of $123.95B. Forecasts were for EPS at $1.9 on revenue revenue $119B.
Microsoft exceeded expectations by beating all forecasts on January 25, posting a 2nd quarter EPS (EPS) of $2.48 on revenue $51.73B, against EPS projections of 2.32 on $50.74B.
