It includes tax cuts and subsidy to encourage a switch to electric cars in Southeast Asia’s largest auto-producing base.
Local media reported that the package would help lower electric vehicle prices from 250,000 to 70,000 baht ($2,165), to 4638, each. On Tuesday, the government will host a briefing.
