Turkey gives initial price guidance of 7.5-7.625% for benchmark USD sukuk

DUBAI, (Reuters) – Turkey provided initial guidance on Wednesday regarding the price of sukuk in dollars. A bank document indicated that this was the case.

Citigroup (NYSE:), Dubai Islamic Bank is arranging the debt sales that are expected to start later in the week, according to the document.

Turkey’s currency has experienced a sharp decline of 44%, despite rising inflation and unorthodox monetary policy. There is also anxiety about political interference in policy-making.
