Brazil central bank chief says higher interest rates are supporting FX -Breaking

BRASILIA (Reuters – Brazil’s central bank chief Roberto Campos Neto claimed Tuesday that higher interest rates were supporting financial inflows which are strengthening Brazil’s currency.

He addressed a conference organized by BTG Pactual investment bank. He also stated that positive fiscal figures help to attract investments to the country. This is among many reasons for the current behavior of the exchange rates.
