Poland’s unemployment rate rises to 5.5% in January -Breaking

(Reuters.) – The Polish registered unemployment rate rose from 5.4% to 5.5% last December to 5.5% January. This was below the analysts’ expectation of 5.6%.

According to statistics, 927,100 registered unemployed were also reported by the office.

The statistics office also reported that the Labour Force Survey (BAEL), which measures unemployment, rose to 2.9% during the fourth quarter.
