EU members reportedly plan for AML watchdog to oversee crypto firms by 2024 -Breaking

In coordination with other authorities the European Commission reportedly intends to allow its financial watchdog group to potentially monitor illicit transactions at cryptocurrency firms.
A Tuesday Bloomberg report reveals that a group consisting of Germany, Spain, Austria and Italy is leading a European Union membership nation. Plan to include crypto firms under the purview of the Anti-Money Laundering-focused group — purportedly the European Commission’s Anti-Money Laundering AuthorityThis was the first time that it had been proposed. The group will reportedly begin operating in 2024 and be “fully functional” by 2026.
